I received this book free for an honest review. It was a good book, and I was a little surprised by that only because it is a short book. I was definitely drawn in and intrigued and had to know what was going to happen next. The story ended with a cliff hanger, which is awesome since I have book 2 to read, lol. There are so many vampire/werewolf books out right now, that it is interesting to read the authors twist on how they function/interact with each other. I would recommend this to others!

Let me begin by saying it was a good book. I like that it is part of a series but also a stand alone. However the book was very hard to follow at the beginning. I wish the cast of characters was before the first chapter or a note indicating a cast of characters at the end of the book. I read the first two chapters, put the book down for a day, picked it back up and was so lost I almost quit reading it. The only reason I didn't is because I committed to writing a review. That being said, I am so glad I didn't stop reading the book. Once I was able to really get into the book, it held my attention. I stayed up two nights in a row reading past my bedtime(lol) because I wasn't ready to put it down. This is a series I will follow.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest opinion. So this book picks up where Night Calls left off. It is a good but a short read. It's nice that the heroin knows who she is without being too soft or too BA. The story line definitely has some twists and turns to keep the reader engagaed. Once again, book 2 ended on a cliffhanger and I was glad I had book 3 to start right away.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review. This book didn't end with quite the cliffhanger book 2 did, which I am ok with since I don't have book 4, lol. I know I am being selfish, but I am enjoying this series and the life of Nyx! It is a good storyline, and not predictable. There were parts in the book where I thought I knew who the bad person was and ended up being wrong. I am hooked and will absolutely continue following this series. My only complaint is how short the books are. If I was just perusing trying to find somehting new to read, I wouldn't pay the price for such a short story. Personally I think the author should combine the first 3 books into 1 book.
