I was born in Bangor, North Wales and spent the first two years of my life living on Anglesey. I have no memories of these years but I wish that I did. I was brought up in the tiny village of Belthorn, near Blackburn in Lancashire. I attended Belthorn County Primary along with fifty-one other children, and that's where I discovered a love of writing that was nurtured and encouraged.
