Charismatic characters, a deep and involving world, and a great series. Overall, a great book that will surely entertain most readers.

On a personal note. If your thinking about Mark of Athena, give this series a try and you'll quickly be abandoning Rick Riordan.

I enjoyed the "on the edge of my chair" action. It was simply written and is probably better enjoyed by the younger generation.

The entire series was captivating. One of the best series I have ever read. I convinced my sister to read it too and now we can't stop talking about it.

Good progression and character development. I definitely liked the chapter going further into Jesus's past. It truly defined what the character is and how he got that way.

Go Brandon!

I didn't know what to expect when I first picked up this series. I had heard a very brief description of it, and it didn't sound like my thing. But so many people recommended it, that I went ahead and read it. I'm so glad that I did. It's exceptionally written, thought provoking, and intense. It's really a must read. I've read it over and over again.

This story was truly life changing. The premise of the story alone is enough for anyone to realize this will not be your run of the mill young adult novel.

I read this series to see what all the excitement was about. I can understand it now. It's entertaining with substance. It kept my interest though the series. (which is more than I can say for most books). A must read if you desire those two things.

I was ravished by the story. The book is told from Brandon's point of view, first person past tense. The conversations occurring in Brandon's head (he talks to his weapons) Overall, the style sheds a unique light on the inner workings of this developing character. I think it works. It keeps the mystery alive and the action tense for the reader.
