My favorite lines:

“Got your service pistol with you?”
“Yes, of course.” Elaine started to open her satchel.
“Leave it here.” With a faint smile, he said, “I read the note in your file.”

I found myself reading one chapter after another. Though the book was shorter than I hoped, it had excellent flow. The subtle humor, lack of over-dramatic dialogue, characters you are able to relate to, and the authors ability to write without adding unnecessary content to reach a specific word count are just a few of the reasons I intend to read more from Mike Wells.

I loved this book so much, I immediately bought the other two in the series and practically read non-stop until I finished all of them! Mike Wells is an extremely talented writer.

I read Book 1 in one setting, just couldn't put it down...and, I downloaded books 2 and 3 to read next. Awesome storyline, great characters, fast-paced, amazingly written. I totally recommend this series.

I absolutely love series. I feel this first book of the series is perfect. I can't wait to find out if Elaine will follow through with her plans and what will happen to Nick. I also agree with one other person's praise; the settings are brought to life and the characters are realistic. Like Elaine, all of us ladies have fallen for at least one of our attractive bosses at some point in time. I am totally hooked and thoroughly enjoy your style of writing Mike.

My lust for reading was completely satisfied with this book. Short but sweet, ‘Lust’ is well-written and delivers an exciting ride. Together with the heroine we cry and laugh and are enraged. My favourite character is Patrick, of course, he is just like my own father! To tell you the truth I was so disgusted with the villain in this part that I wished I could kill him! And don’t forget, the prologue promises infinitely more. That’s why I can’t wait to get my anxious little hands on parts 2 and 3!
