Nice job, especially taking the author's age into consideration. I'm not a fan of horror (of course with Halloween being today--what the heck), but I enjoyed this young lady's descriptive language. You'll need to learn to put in more twists and turns, and perhaps a little more dialogue, but overall it was a really good short. I think I see a budding 'King' type writer. Keep writing, Atanika. You have a gift. I wish I'd started spinning my tales when I was as young as you are!

A good effort for a 13 year old. Not so good for an adult. Too many adjectives and the outcome was easily guessed. A cliched story.
