A Lupus Handbook: These Are the Faces of Lupus

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Flannery O'Connor once wrote that sickness has no company. In defiance of this stark reality, A. G. Moore wrote "These Are the Faces of Lupus". Ms. Moore has lived with lupus for almost twenty years; in those years she learned to be productive and hopeful. Her goal in releasing this well-researched book is to share her insights and to help others meet the challenge of their own illness. More

I have a close relative that suffers from Lupus. While I found the book very interesting, I think the real value in this book is the way the author discusses her interactions with the doctors, hospitals, and health care system. I highly recommend this book to anyone afflicted with Lupus or anyone helping a loved one cope with the disease.
