Fear. Choice. These are the central themes in this book of short stories. Each one pulls you in and leaves you asking "where's the rest!?". A little bit of ghost story and a touch of faerie tale combine in this anthology to make for one hell of a read. The last story, Wraith, was especially engaging and Im anxious to see what happens next with these characters. Ms McCabe takes you out of your comfort zone and plants seeds about the what if's that will keep you awake long into the night. It was very easy to give this book a 5/5!

KW is a great writer. Her stories are easy to read and very relate-able. Wraith was by far my favorite short story and I can't wait for the author to finish it!!

Dreams Both Real and Strange is kind of like being handed a nice, steaming hot latte....only to have it pulled away. A tease, but in a good way! It'll leave the reader wanting more from the anthology. A quick read comprised of a few short stories to start off and then ending with a longer, more detailed story.

The stories are well written, with characters that grab the reader. The story that sticks out the most, and will leave the reader wanting more, is Wraith. Anne, the daughter of a witch, is kidnapped by Wraith after she falls asleep while daydreaming, only to wake up to pitch dark. Anne and her mother have moved from town to town trying to escape the demons that are stalking them. The reader will soon find out that Wraith is a vampire, created by Anne's mother. Why can't witches and vampires get along?

K.W. McCabe is definitely an author to watch out for. I, personally, am looking forward to reading more about Wraith and Anne! Will Wraith be cured of the vampirism? Will Anne be saved by her mother in time? Guess we'll have to find out!

This collection of short stories is very entertaining and full of magic, mystery, and horror. They were very original and the characters are highly entertaining. The stories were easy to follow and didn’t end too early. I highly recommend this book to lovers of fantasy or paranormal stories.

Short Story one-
I really liked the first short story. is it about a Grim Reaper kind of thing. i thought that it was kind of creepy at first but in a good way. why did the woman ask to be brought back to life though? In a way i feel like there was a story before this one, but i really enjoyed it. i would give it four stars out of five.

Short Story two-
i really liked the second one. i like how it is about a Phoenix. i remember in Harry Potter books there was a phoenix hair in his wand. at the beginning of the story i didn't know what you were talking about, but it was really neat at the end to find out. i think it is also neat how a Phoenix can come back to life by burning. i would also give this story four stars out of five.

Short Story three-
i really like Thomas he seems like a nice guy from what i read in the short story. i am really enjoying them. i thought that it was kind of weird though because i thought at first what happened was a dream. also how did he get out of the lake and back into his room? did Mara bring him back to his room. Mara kind of creeped me out to. anyways i would give this four stars out of five. this one kind of kept me on edge cuz i didn't know what was going to happen.

Short Story four-
really good it shows that people do care about others when they are dying. they sometimes wish that they could change things like how they acted towards their children and wifes and husbands. i didn't think that this story would interest me so much because at first i was ify, but then in the end i loved this one the most. i would give this story a five out of five starts. keep up the great work. i am loving your stories more and more.

Short Story five-
i really enjoyed this story. i liked it the best and its what held my interest. i really want to know what happens. i still do wonder if he is going to be a vampire. i would give this story a five out of five stars anyways keep up the great work.

if you have more to the first and last story please tell me i really want to read the rest. the best of luck with your stories ~Nechole

This is a book made up of 5 short stories, the stories were okay but not something I will really remember past closing the book.
The first and last short stories were "to be continued" and I don't really understand that, are they going to be a longer book? I would not go out of my way to see what happens tho in either of them sadly.
The writing was not bad but none of the stories really held me and made me want to read more.

ooooohhhhhh!!! Wonderful!!! Two are to be continued! I enjoyed them all, but was sucked into the last story and stress to the author....please continue!!! I want to know what happens next! I loved it!!

I found your book via promote your book and am glad that I did!
Readers....read this!!!
ok...my ratinings

Grammer- I give 4 stars out of five because there were teeny tiny errors noticed, but I am not a pro so that is all I say...

Storyline- Great concepts, very imaginative and versitle! I liked where the "too be continued" ones went and they drew me in, especially the last!

character connetion/relation- 4 out of 5! I could relate...especially with Anne,Wraieth(did I spell that right?) and Lena...I felt for the girl collecting the "payment"...I understood the man's regrets...one story inside I did like, but I feel the story was told a bit too haste and I could not completely connect....

But,overall 5 stars! Thanks for the share and good luck! And.....definitely continue writing!!!
