About Aiki Flinthart

Aiki lives in Brisbane, Australia, with her husband, (Ernest), teenage son (Leonidis - not their real names, obviously), aging dog and directionally-challenged fish.
In between being a wife, running a business full-time and helping Leonidis with homework, she squeezes in a few hobbies, including:
Martial arts, painting, writing, reading, bellydancing and playing three or four musical instruments. Occasionally she even sleeps. Very occasionally.

About the Series: 80AD
If you've ever played computer games and wished you could be your avatar, this is the series for you. When Phoenix and Jade are sucked into the game 80AD, they are no longer 14yo ordinary kids, but are now their 17yo avatars. Phoenix is a warrior and can't wait to kick-ass in a way he can't in his real life. Jade is a spell-weaver, but she just wants to get home. To do that, they'll have to play out the game and defeat the villain, Feng Zhudai. But nothing is as it seems, for this fantasy world is connected to the real world. If Phoenix and Jade fail, their world could fall to Feng Zhudai as well. And there's no unlimited re-spawns here - just seven lives. Once they're gone, you're dead. Forever. So Jade and Phoenix will have to overcome their differences and defeat monsters, druids, Romans, gods and their own fears in order to succeed.

Great Book! This series really helped me take a brief look at some of the greatest civilizations of all time while having a some fun with the way modern people would react if placed under the circumstances and pressure of living the life in that place & time.

I feel extremely lucky that I stumbled across this series of books once they were all published, because I'm not sure what I would have done if I had not been able to get closure. ;) The writing style of all the books is very clean and professional, a jewel amongst other Smashword finds.

I've read the first 3, just downloaded 4 and 5, loving this series! I know it's written for younger people but as a 59 yr old sci-fi junkie I have to say they're very well written and edited. Also, thanks for having the direct link to the books on your website, made it so much easier to find them, more time for reading :)

Loved everything about this book; from the amazing battle scenes, the unique setting and the fantastic characters. I won't give anything away, but I got a massive shock at the end ... I did not see that coming at all. Now I'm hanging out for Book 5!
