I was very happy to grab up this book while it was free, it was one I had been looking forward to reading. I was not disappointed at all.
Starts out fun, funny and spending time with family/pack. Things change though, and you go through just as many emotions as Darcy and Mason.
I loved that no mater what, Mason always showed Darcy how much she meant to him. Even when he was hurting and needed the emotional support. Although, he would never show it, since he is the alpha.
Lots of twists and turns, and just when you think things are going to be ok-Bam! something else happens.
Darcy, Mason, Daniel and Delvin are a great team!
The end shocked me just as much as I could feel the shock in Darcy. I can't wait to read more.

Hot Hot Hot! There is nothing better than being wrapped up under the blankets, in bed curled up with a book that makes you wanna curl your toes. I got so caught up in Mason and Darcy's story that even some of the more touching scenes caused me to tear up, breaking my heart. Darcy's has an air about her, her independence something she clings to when she needs some girl time away. Mason had me from the beginning with his charm and sweetness. Is there anything hotter than an Alpha in a Wolf Pack anyways? I don't think so...

How do you expect to keep your mate on his toes if you don't bid your time and push his buttons when no one or everyone is looking? That's exactly what Darcy does to Mason early on in the story, whether it be alone or around their pack. And boy does he ever punish her for causing strife among the rest of his pack. Mason being the Alpha cannot have Darcy pushing his buttons and causing him to look weak around the others. But punishment is not all that Mason gives to Darcy - she asked for it though and he intends to punish her real good. Oh how I'd love to push Mason's buttons myself...punishment be damned!

When a tragic accident takes the pack by surprise, it's up to Mason to be strong, even though his loss is great, his pack needs him more. Taking care of Darcy is all he knows how to do because there is no way he can show his grief, heartache and pain in front of her or his pack.

Someone is playing with fire, and it's called The Mystic Wolves... When Mason and Darcy begin to put the pieces together it's not what they think, or who they expected but much, much worse. Out for revenge, Mason takes his chances because turning back could mean the loss of yet another one he loves...and he's can't let that happen, not to his one and only mate, Darcy.

I found this book to be a awesome read. It was chock full of everything you want a goid paranormal romance to be. It was thrilling, fun, sexy, witty, clever, heart wrenching, and suspensful. I thoriughly enjoyed the characters and their banter. You could feel the closeness of their relationships through their interactions. Thisbook is both well written and truly entertaining. I am eager to read more of the series.

What an amazing book! I seriously could not put this one down! I started it last night and finished it in less than a day. If you like books that get right into the romance immediately, this is for you. I seriously was wondering what the plot really was for a few chapters because it focused so heavily on the relationship between Darcy and Mason (pack alpha). Darcy and Mason came together through a blind date by Darcy's mom and their wolves instead claimed each other. It was love at first sight and their love has only grown since. There is an interesting aspect of this story in that neither one of them is ever satisfied if you catch my drift. In order to be together they must go through a mate bonding ceremony where it is highly important that the female remains pure. Their ceremony has been scheduled and they are waiting for some specific date to come around before they can consummate their love. In the meantime, they thoroughly enjoy driving each other crazy. Don't get me wrong, even though I didn't know where the story was going for a while, it's still a very entertaining read.

At some point it does become clear that there is actually someone out to destroy Mason in some way. This person orchestrates the death of Mason's beloved sister and a childhood sweetheart. After that, he is out to get Darcy. She ends up kidnapped and you find out that there is actually something special about her, but we don't know exactly what that is. Then she is returned to Mason to deliver a message and show that no one he loves is really protected. The story ends up with a vampire rescuing both Mason and Darcy and the peace treaty between vampires and werewolves solidified. Finally we end with a HUGE cliffhanger as another werewolf shows up on their door and tries to lay claim to Mason. What will happen? Will Darcy's wolf kill this intruder? Will Mason have to choose between them? Where did she even come from??? All questions that I am sure are to be answered in the next book, but boy it's going to drive me crazy waiting until I have to time get it!

I enjoyed the novel event in the book even though I hate to cry. She handled the characters and action well while keeping the interaction realistic. What a great start to a series.

This was a cute werewolf story about a girl and guy who are nauseatingly in love. He’s the alpha and she’s his betrothed, so Darcy’s gotten very comfortable in the pack, and very close with Mason’s sister. The story delivers betrayal, death, danger, and frustrating sexual tension because they need to stay “pure” for the mating ritual.

There’s a large section in the middle where Mason and Darcy focus on each other and just get away from it all for a bit. I personally enjoyed it because I love to focus on just the love story, however realistically I don’t think they would’ve been able to get away with it when there’s a threat looming.

While I enjoyed the story, the cliffhanger ending made me mad for a lot of reasons...that I can’t explain without giving it away, so I’ll zip my lips. Beyond that, my biggest complaint is that we once again have another werewolf/vampire story. I like vampires and werewolves, but hopefully Belinda Boring will shake it up a bit in book 2, Forget Me Not, which is available now!

I absolutely loved the characters. The storyline reduced me to tears and I never saw the twists in the story coming.
Such a well written novel with an amazing storyline with incredible characters.
I loved how cheeky Darcy was and the incredible vulnerability that the Alph showed to the woman he loved.
