Tools that relocate themselves. Shadows glimpsed from the corner of one's eye. The feeling of being watched when no one's there.

It's all in a day's work for the crew renovating Bayview Manor, a dilapidated mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean on the Olympic Peninsula.

About Sharon Gerlach

Sharon Gerlach was in training to be a ninja, but a dismaying lack of physical grace and balance—not to mention the inability to keep her big mouth shut—ended her ninja career before it really began. Now she writes. She doesn’t write about ninjas because that’s obviously a sore subject. But she writes about other really cool things and figures someone else will cover the ninjas. Life’s really not all about ninjas, anyway. Sharon lives on the dry side of the Pacific Northwest with her husband (who must really be fond of her as he hasn’t left her yet despite her ninja failings); her kids and grandkids (none of whom possess ninja qualities either); and two cats. Yes, you guessed it—ninja cats!

About the Series: The Devil's Mansion
No one knows from where it came.

No one knows when it was built or by whom.

It defies known architecture and is made of unidentifiable stone.

Only those who seek it find it, and those who find it regret it.

Known as the Devil’s Mansion, the Evil Castle, and the House of Smoke and Shadows, its promise of adventure, mystery, and danger seduces the unsuspecting – and traps them within.

An ancient evil walks its floors, its sole desire the destruction of mankind – one forsaken soul at a time.

Well written horror. I didn't read the first book but had no trouble getting into this one. The allusions to the previous book did not give that "I'm missing something feeling".

the second book in the devil's house series is different as day and night from Wyckham House. although the concept is changed, beloved characters reappear, and we follow their struggles and achievements with fascination. this book is another must read in the paranormal genre. I only hope the authors will continue the series.

A very well written tale of horror. A little more religious than I was expecting, but not enough to put me off. I felt for the characters, the story was great, and all in all I found it thoroughly enjoyable. I will gladly read more from this author.

Condemned is the fifth book that I have read by Sharon Gerlach and it has EVERYTHING!! There's romance, drama..Lots of drama!! Horror, there were times I was holding my breath while reading without even being aware of it because I was so into the intensity of the book! I was drawn into the book by the details, the people were very real to was like I could feel what they felt because Sharon described everything so well. She takes things that are out of the ordinary and makes you realize that it could very well be truth! I am an avid reader and have read hundreds and hundreds of books, but WYCKHAM house and Condemned are by far the best, the plot, the characters, it kept me glued to the pages every free moment that I had! Keep them coming Sharon!
