A very fun romp through the highjinx and fun times Pineapple Sam had growing up on Kauai in Hawaii, experiences very unique to the smaller Hawaiian islands. His dialog brings all his stories alive and his descriptions let you "see" what Sam did. Very, very enjoyable! Mahalo, Sam!

I really enjoyed reading this book. The characters are well established and the plots drive the readers to know more. It is a complete page-turner. I finished it in one-sitting. It’s very hard to put this book down once you started reading it. I’d like to think it’s a crossover between Lord of the Flys and The Little Prince only with a little bit of Asian reference. Overall, this book is something worthy to read and be passed on.
