Was it chance, or destiny? Calan MacLeod would call it destiny. If the gods want to put two people together, they will find each other. There’s no other way to explain what happened to Moira Jones and Brenda Tuttle. It had to be destiny.

About Prudence MacLeod

I live on a small island just off a larger island off the coast of North America where I write romance, sci-fi, and fantasy/adventure for a wider audience.

What's my super power? I'm a storyteller, an entertainer. As you begin to read my words the stress of the day, nay, the stress of everyday, begins to magically fade away. Transported into another world, your worries and troubles are forgotten for a time as you share adventures with me and my friends. My art, my power is as old as humankind, for the magic of the storyteller has ever been with us and it will always be.

Okay, I'll confess, I've been busted. I was accused of once being a life coach and hiding some of those techniques in my books, disguised as adventure.
Guilty as charged. sigh.
I was also accused of lightly touching on a number of taboo subjects in my books, trying to shine a different light on things.
Guilty as charged again.
As a result of these transgressions, I have been labeled an underground writer.
Oh the shame of it all. (Hangs head and moves slowly towards penalty box.)

I am a spiritual seeker, dog trainer, official Reiki Master and Interior designer, who has turned her hand to writing. I am also an avid chess player, not a great one, but an avid one. I bake, I build, I knit, and I tell great stories.

I have roamed far and wide for over sixty years in this realm, and I have seen much; some I wish I had not, and a great deal that I would love to see again. Some days I feel like Bilbo Baggins, for I have been there and come back again.

No, I haven't written a book about my wanderings, at least not yet, but much I have experienced, observed, learned, surmised, or imagined, is woven into the tales I have written.

Folks, if you take the time to write a review for me, please leave me a way to contact you so I can thank you properly. If you prefer to remain anonymous, then let me thank you right now. Thanks!!

I've read this twice now, and I'm seriously considering a third time. Seeing how people change when going from rags to riches has always fascinated me. Sometimes people turn greedy and selfish, while others become generous to a fault. This story showed the wonderful spirit of a giving soul. I was completely enthralled as the suspenseful romance slowly grew closer to maturity between Moira and Brenda. It was a delightful story to read during a very stressful period. I am very grateful to the friend who let me read it on his iPhone until I could get a copy for myself. Putting the first chapter of the next book at the end of the story was pure torture! I'm so glad Prudence MacLeod produces books so quickly! Thanks a million for the delightful story, sure!
