Elizabeth Rowan Keith is an independent writer and researcher who writes on investigative, ethnographic, and scientific subjects. She also writes award-winning fiction and poetry. She has a doctorate in the biological sciences specializing in ethnobotany and a Master’s degree in public administration. Not having prior knowledge of this mountain range, this book was ideal for explaining the land and water formations found in the Rockies. I can recommend this for an easy educational read.

I enjoyed this book and found referring to a map of the area while reading it brought a new understanding of our valleys and mountains.
