About K. B. Miller

Okay, so I'm supposed to tell you about me...
Seriously, if I wrote a book about myself it would take you ten minutes to read and you would be bored stiff after the first two! LOL

I'm a full-time writer, wife, and mother. Which basically means there's always a surplus of pencils lost somewhere in my hair, I usually have some place to be(I'm always late), I have a bad habit of calling family and friends random character's names (from my books), I talk to myself because no one else listens to me, and I can throw together a mean dinner for eight with only ten minutes notice and four ingredients in the pantry, LOL.

If you can't find me on the sidelines of my sons' football games, online, cooking, cleaning, shopping, at the local coffee joint or on the phone wandering aimlessly throughout my house then I've probably hidden myself in my "bat-cave" to write.

I have a positive attitude, and absolute fun-loving approach to life. That makes it easy for the voices in my head to take over on a regular basis providing endless hours of entertainment for my pleasure, and hopefully yours.

Random facts about me:

~My favorite color is pink
~I have a Bishon Frise puppy named Cullen Edward
~My favorite music is hip-hop
~I have a severe addiction to coffee. So much so, that those in my inner circle refuse to speak to me before caffeine O'clock! True Story

Enjoy the ride.
~K.B. xoxo

This was a great start to seeing Leeny as a child and the relationship she has with her mother and sister. This was a wonderful short read and I loved it and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes stories about witches. Overall a easy read but wish it had been longer

I was given a copy for an honest review. It was alittle slow in the beginning but it picked up towards the end. I'm looking forward to how this series plays out and how Leeny reaches her full potential as a witch and what happens with the covens and the bad vampires. It all starts out with Leeny starting to be trained as a witch. Her mother is a powerful witch that can summon fire and see visions. Leeny is the next in line to be trained and initiated into the coven. She questions herself at first if she is really cut out for this because of a situation that she sees her mom deal with. But towards the end she realizes how important it is to her to protect the people she loves and the innocent. She then welcomes it with open arms. She has 2 younger sisters one which really wants to be the next one in line to join the coven. After her sister gets to see what Leeny really has to deal with she is happy to have to wait those extra yrs. It was a quick read and a nice start to this series.

On Galaway Bay is where the moon witch coven is. Lenny is about to become the moon witch she was born to be. Her mother is the coven leader and it's time for her to teach Lenny how to use her powers and protect her family and coven. The coven's duty is to protect the humans from vampires. While taken out for practice Lenny and her mother run into a vampire and her mother protects her. She see's her mother in a different light and is unsure of how she feels about her new duty. She see's her mother in another light and having to deal with her sister's jealous is almost too much to handle.

This was a great story for a young reader. She see's her mother in another light and the strong bond she has with her sister is tested. She has to become her own person. It's a great lesson for every girl to explore. This was a great foundation to what I expect is a wonderful series. I can't wait to read more of the series.

Leeny is the next in line to be a Moon witch, one of a long line of powerful witches. On the night of her initiation, she has to witness her mother turning into a different person while fighting a vampire...those of whom the witches set out to destroy/protect humans from.

Although a short story, K.B. Miller has packed this story with witches, vampires, action and intrigue. I was pulled in right from the very beginning and didn't want to it to end, I wanted to find out more about Leeny and what will happen next. If you are looking for a great short read, this is the one for you!!

Haunted Moon is an amazing start to "A Moon Coven Series". This book allows us to read and experience Aileen's journey to accepting and becoming a Moon Witch. At first Aileen is tested when she witness the death of a Vampire for the first time by the hands of someone she loves. She begins to question whether she wants to become the witch she was ment to be and whether or not she can trust the ones she love. As time goes on she realizes she must accept who she is to become in order to proctet the one's she loves and the people of their community. This book is a great start to the series, and I look forward to reading "Compulsion" the next book in the series. I reccomend everyone giving this series a try, it is definately worth reading.

Haunted Moon
A Moon Coven Series Novella

I hadn’t read anything from the Moon Coven Series, but this novella was a great introduction which shows Leeny coming of age into her witchcraft heritage. Very descriptive and well written, this is the perfect glimpse into the series.

I received an e-copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed reading Haunted Moon: A Moon Coven Series Novella by K. B. Miller. I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading the first page. I knew it was going to be a short read and I was really hoping that it would keep me wanting to read more about her Moon Coven Series. I’m rather happy to say that Haunted Moon accomplished just that; it was a satisfying novella that made me want to read the other books in K. B. Miller’s Moon Coven Series.

I thought that Lilyann was an interesting character who had to come into her own by accepting and embracing her destiny. There was just enough storyline to pull the reader into K. B. Miller’s story and keep reading to find out how Lilyann was going to deal with what she witnessed with her mother and how she is going to have to essentially do what her mother did – which was to kill vampires.

I definitely want to read more books in K. B. Miller’s Moon Coven Series. Haunted Moon was an enjoyable novella which showcases the author’s writing talent and gives the reader a satisfying short story.
