About Veronica Scott

Best Selling Science Fiction Adventure author Veronica Scott grew up in a house with a library full of books as its heart, and when she ran out of things to read, she started writing her own stories. Married young to her high school sweetheart then widowed, Veronica has two grown daughters, one young grandson and cats Keanu and Jake.
Veronica’s life has taken many twists and turns, but she always makes time to keep reading and writing. Everything is good source material for the next novel or the one after that anyway, right? She’s been through earthquakes, tornadoes and near death experiences, although nothing is as stressful as meeting a book deadline. Always more stories to tell, new adventures to experience—Veronica’s personal motto is, “Never boring.”

Received a 2013 SFR Galaxy Award for her novel WRECK OF THE NEBULA DREAM.
Proud recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service Medal but must hasten to add the honor was not for her romantic fiction!

Great author. Truly enjoyable read that stands out from other SF books. Its is like an early Heinlein book, where you felt that you were there and you slowly read it, becuse it is so enjoyable. Buying the other 2 books she wrote. I totally agree with the other review that are 5 stars.

I read "The Wreck of the Nebula Dream" in one sitting, which is incredible considering I have a toddler in the house who wants mommy's full attention. Although I felt the beginning was a tad slow on pace - it captured my curiousity and held me until the pace picked up. Ms. Scott created a very credible universe that I could jump into and be a part of. I loved the hero, as a military wife I can relate to what was going on in his head. I didn't connect as much with some of the secondary characters (LOVED the elderly regal woman - apologies i cannot remember the planet she was from right now *off to check* the Mellurean Lady - she was awesome). By the end of the book, I had a vested interest in the characters.
Overall, this was a very enjoyable read. I look forward to checking out more books by Veronica Scott.

I just finished reading, "The Wreck Of The Nebula Dream". The characters are easy to bond with as they are believable, heroic, quirky, and enjoyable. This story is very suspenseful and full of unexpected twists. Being the first time I have read a book by Veronica Scott, I did not know what to expect. But having really enjoyed the story I will certainly search out other books by this author. I recommend this one to all.
