Accomplishes what its advertised to do - guide you past the Ninjascript tutorials into more advanced application development. In other words, first do the free online Ninja tutorials, then use this manual. Has reference code with clear explanations; you can copy/paste code snippets. Well done.

While the book does have some good content, this is not what I would consider to be a "launchpad" for beginners looking to create indicators or strategies. The introduction basically states that you need to know how to program in C#.NET to continue.
I wasn't expecting to read through this and be a master, but I feel like I was trying to climb a ladder with most of the bottom rungs missing.
I was also a bit disappointed that there wasn't really any coverage on strategy development, which is what first led me to this ebook. I was expecting to have the author cover the use of basic strategies and explain why each element of the code meant.
I feel that I was greatly misled on what was to be covered in this publication however the price was right, and I have no regrets in that regard.

This book gives useful information that is not easily gathered (if at all) from the NinjaTrader Help Guide or from its samples.
However, it is missing several important areas, like Strategies. Hopefully the author will issue a further edition to improve it.
