About Amanda Mondoux

Amanda Mondoux was born in Nashua New Hampshire in May of 1980. Her primary passion growing up resided with animal care, making it easy to understand her later profession of a veterinary technician. And then there was reading, and of that she did plenty. Her love for writing developed later in life, and has flourished since. Amanda’s love for fantasy and mythology started at the young age of six, her first “adult fantasy read” being JRR Tolkein’s “The Hobbit.” Her education was then split between English and writing courses and classes pertaining to animal care, and the two curriculums served to enhance the reality and beauty of the worlds she creates.

I loved this story, I am a big short story person lately because I just can't seem to find the time to read a full length book (mostly because I have 2 projects with editors and writing my 4th book) A lot of short stories can leave you disappointed but this one did not!! I loved this story, it gives you enough to answer your nagging questions and best of all it it is a fast paced story that takes you along for a breathless ride!

I've read this about a half-dozen times since it was released at the end of the author's Forbidden Era bash. It starts out at breakneck pace and maintains it throughout the entire length of the story while simultaneously introducing characters and unraveling the back story while never skipping a beat. It is so very rare to see this much content packed into so few pages. A brilliant offering from a great mind.

Amanda Mondoux does it again just like Forbidden Era. She weaves a wonderful story that leaves the reader wanting more and more. I loved this short story and I can't wait for more of Lily and the Whyre Curse.

I'm a big fan already!!! I love the way the author describes the characters in this story and their surroundings. It made me feel as if I was part of the story. I'm looking forward to hearing more of the Whyre Curse and Lily. With me, the cover of the book has to capture my attention. I read the 'summary' of what the book is about and from there, I decide if I want to read the book or not. I have to say I have found a new author to read!!!
