About Sylvia Hubbard

Detroit native, Sylvia Hubbard, a single mother of three, has worked tirelessly to promote and encourage emerging writers in Michigan. She independently published her first romance novel in 2000 and has continued to write in that genre, sometimes venturing into other sub-genres. Always urban and contemporary styled, her writing is enjoyed all over the world. She has published 8 paperbacks and over 30 e-books.

The same year she published, Ms Hubbard also created Motown Writers Network to fill the lack of education and networking for Michigan authors online and offline. By 2004, she was frustrated that all the literary conferences had moved too far away from the city and co-created The Essence of Motown Literary Jam Conference held only in the City of Detroit annually.

In addition to romance writing, Hubbard has been featured at various conferences and workshops all over the United States and Canada, where she has taught authors how to sell their books on the Internet. She also published Internet Marketing for Writers & Businesses as a resource for those unable to attend her workshops. In the upcoming year, she will be featured in several anthologies and plans to publish additional e-books.

Sylvia, as usual, I really enjoyed this book, and I'm glad that Cheyenne and Evan ended up together. Even though his character changed from a dark cinnamon skinned brother with short reddish brown hair and black eyes (in the first story) to a nice chocolate brother with sexy brown eyes, I ain't mad (LOL). You always make your men sexy in whatever shade.

Also, I knew there was more to Stacey than was let on in the beginning, and I'm still unsure how I feel about her (but that's ok too). Sometimes you need the pot to be stirred up to mix all the juices together(wink).

Evan's determination to find the student was intense, and Cheyenne's need to keep her fantasy her's was paramount. I also liked that she rocked his world to the point where he moved hell and high water to find out who she was.

The Lotts, the Lotts, the Lotts, that's all I can say about them (sad face). And yes, Sylvia, I'm waiting patiently for your next novel.

P.S., For the people who complain about subtle differences in names and actions, if you are reading the story, you know what she meant and who she was talking about!!!!

Kudos!!!!!

A very engaging story, could use a little polishing but very enjoyable.

Not bad, not the best. Was confused when she referred to 'Ethan' a one point. Writing was not as well as I'm used to. Don't feel it was worth the price.

Giving Love 101 Another Try.

When I first read Love 101, the chemistry between Cheyenne Evan was HOT.
I was so disappointed that it ended so soon, so when I heard it was a sequel I was to happy.
I loved how Evan went after her like his life depended on it. I so loved the Lott’s and for them to make a cameo was great, but I was so sad about what happen. ( YOU WILL HAVE READ FOR YOURSELF, TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN LOL) . Now hot a$$ Stacy needed her butt kicked for the trouble she was bringing to them, but I’m glad she was nosey and got the ball rolling in the one of a kind love story. Miss Sylvia didn’t disappoint as all way, and made a short and sweet story amazing,

I can’t wait to see what she going to do next, I hope it’s about the Heart’s or friends. As always Miss
Sylvia put U in unique and always bring her A game, A MUST READ!
