This could have been a good story, but the writing is too disjointed to pull the reader in. Instead of jumping into the action, or setting up a scene, the reader is thrown into a good-bye that isn't described well, we find that the people have been genetically altered yet have no sense of a person. Dialogue was stilted; I just couldn't go past the 11th page

A strange sci-fi romance that actually works! This author has a imagination that reminds me of Gene Roddenberry!

Still reading as it is pretty long and involved. So far the writing is good and worth the while.
