About Meredith Rae Morgan

Meredith Morgan is a pseudonym, my professional and online identity. I write novels for and about strong women and self-publish them as eBooks on Smashwords.

I was raised in the Midwest but have roots in the Deep South. I have lived in Florida for the past fifteen years. I tend to alternate the settings for my stories between all three places. From that experience, I've discovered that I love Southern women, Midwestern men and I'm fascinated (in a weird and scary kind of way) by the people I've encountered in Florida, most of whom are from other places.

Besides writing, my passions are walking the beach, reading and cooking. For a more detailed bio, see my website.

Having read a number of the authors work, I new that After the Fire was going to be a winner. Fast moving with plenty of interest to keep those pages turning.

Bev Deller is a likeable strong woman, hard working and honest a great role model for her daughter, in this the first novel featuring Bev.
The horrific fire and deaths are dreadful for the rescue services and those who have to deal with the clean up which we are privy too, this is dealt with in an understanding and caring manner.Loved it, read in one.

Enjoyed the book. It kept me guessing until the end. Even though there were a lot of injuries and deaths, the author didn't dwell on graphic details. Thanks for a good read.
