About J. L. Hardee

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my page.

I'm a former Fire Chief from SC. I began writing at a very young age but never thought of pursuing it as a career. My passion was being a firefighter. After 18 years as a volunteer and 15 years as a career, I hung my Chief's helmet on a wall.

Now I spend my time writing a little and designing webpages. Both are hobbies and something I enjoy doing.

I do have a couple of books in the final stages and nearly ready for publication, but I'm trying to get them picked up by a publisher before I self-publish. I will give it a little more time, but if I can't come to good terms with a publisher soon, I will get my books out to share with you.

I'd like to invite you all to visit me at my pages below. I always enjoy meeting and talking to new people.

Very good novel...I would recommend it to anyone...Really insightful as to what juror's have to go through to come to a verdict...It let's you know some things about the court system that I'm sure they'd rather you not know.

Great book, highly recommend everyone to read. This book sheds a lot of light on how our judicial system really works, things no one wants you to know. I hope I am never in this situation or on trial for my life.

Everyone who thinks our justice system is infallible needs to read this book. Regardless of guilt or innocence, what goes on in a jury room is serious & frightening.

This is an excellent book and should be required reading for every high school student. I would highly recommend it to everyone and especially those who are called or subject to being call for jury duty.

The book is well written, easy to read, and the author has a way of wrapping the reader into the story so you feel like you are in the courtroom and jury room with him.

This book is about a serious subject that affects all of us and should not be taken lightly. The integrity of our court system is in our hands. We get out of it what we are willing to give to it. The system controls us only if we allow it to. We can and will make a difference.
