The author only speaks of himself in the third person when he has to speak about the author or, of course, when he conjures the extraordinary art of imaginative sorcery—some call it Writing. If there was any place for cats in my life, I would have two and one of them would be a Gremlin in disguise. I have a ferret and a hyena—both imaginary.

An interesting idea, and an interesting character in Z. This 16 page short story would benefit from a better translation (there were numerous translation errors).

A wonderful read. Waiting on a sequel. Does Z ever find X and Y? Is the professor really in charge? What sort of world is this where they do experiments on children? Very enjoyable.
