Nell Dixon is a Black Country author, married to the same man for over twenty-eight years she has three daughters, a tank of tropical fish and a cactus called Spike. A really intriguing short story that has a bit of a mystery to unravel. The characters are the kind you hope will get together in the end. They have a real honesty about them. I was a little disappointed in the ending though and found it a bit abrupt.
