Joshunda Sanders is a writer and journalist. Her first traditionally published book, "How Racism and Sexism Killed Traditional Media: Why The Future of Journalism Depends on Women and People of Color," was published by Praeger Books in 2015. Her creative nonfiction, fiction and poetry have been widely published in international and national publications. She was the proud author of a 2013 TED Talk on mental health and poverty and she has presented at South by Southwest Interactive. She lives in Washington, D.C.
