This fourth book in the Whispers series gives us a look at the next phase of the lives of Sophie, AJ, and Krysta. In this story, AJ is dreaming, but instead of future visions, they are of the past. A very long time in the past. Because of events and their gifts changing, their lives take a different turn. AJ and Krysta go to live with AJ's Aunt Beatrice. Sophie was suppose to go as well, but her Mother wouldn't let her. The book follows AJ and Krysta in Salem and Sophie back at home. There are twist and turns and we learn more about the background of the three main characters. As with the other books in the series, there is a transition to the next book, Sophie's Secrets, but this ending is much more a cliff hanger than the previous stories. Another book by Tara West worthy of five stars.

For the first time you get the perspective from all three girls as their life changes again. Their powers are growing and changing, and not always in the way that they would want them to.

There is a mystery running through this book about who AJ is dreaming of and how it all fits together but trust me, it fits like a key to a lock and is seamless! Absolutely brilliant.

This book took off in a direction that I wasn't expecting but I was taken along for the ride and loved every moment of it.

WARNING!!! Major cliffhanger ending that had me gasping! I can't believe Tara's left me hanging this way lol.

This book was number 4 in the Whispers series. I loved this one the most out of the series. Everything that was written in the past three books, getting to know the girls and their stories, really come together in this one. They start to use and learn more of their powers. Trying to learn to control them and at the same time playing around with them, seeing what they can do, testing the limits and boundaries if their magic. I love mysterious Ethan and the way he helps Sophie while her BFF's are in Salem with AJ' great aunt who is also a teacher if whitchlings. Also tony that AJ is attracted to who is also in a coven, where they do not have to hide what they can do. Krysta learning a little of her ancestry and having that lost connection. You absolutely have to read this series and I am waiting on pins and needles for the 5th book coming soon (maybe next month I hear!)

Visions of a Witch is by far the best book in the Whispers series. AJ, Krysta and Sophia's journey to learning more about their powers is exciting. This book had me laughing and crying. It is a must read.
