About Liz Rich

Writer and dreamer, I am a chaser of sunsets and rainbows. I grew up in the Arizona desert and cherish the warmth of the sun and the whispers of quiet. My writing began at an early age, starting with small works of fiction, a play performed at my school, and a lot of poetry. My poetry is deeply personal and straight from the heart. In the beginning, I had reservations about sharing my writing, thinking it would allow too much insight into me. As my writing has evolved, I've realized how words can be like loving hands that touch the heart and how satisfying it is when one of my readers tells me I touched a place in theirs.

Very touching reminder to love and cherish our mom/dad/loved ones while they live, and to embrace and treasure the memories they've created. Thank you, Liz for reminding me how fortunate I am to still have my mom.

The ache in the heart so very strong. When you loose someone you love the pain lingers and the healing is slow. Your words bring healing to the heart one word at a time.

Very loving and a wonderful dedication. Moms are God's gift to humans. A mom can accomplish things no one else can.

The feeling is there and the words flow well. The wording is personal and beautiful. This made me think of my mother and of my children who will one day be left behind when I pass on. It is beautiful work and not just because the sentiment is right. The technical aspects of each piece are in order as well and that really helps to bring a piece to the reader with little or no confusion. Too many times poets seem to think they are above the technical side of writing. It is refreshing that you use it to your advantage. Great job!

Extremely well written. You can feel the love, honor, and respect for her mother that has gone to be with Jesus. Brought tears to my eyes. Excellent work!
