About R.E. Butler

A Midwesterner by birth, R.E. spent much of her childhood rewriting her favorite books to include herself as the main character. Later, she graduated on to writing her own books after "retiring" from her day job as a secretary to become a stay-at-home mom.

When not playing with her kids, wrestling her dogs out the door, or cooking dinner for her family, you'll find her typing furiously and growling obscenities to the characters on the screen.

Her best-selling series Wiccan-Were-Bear, The Necklace Chronicles, Hyena Heat, Wilde Creek, Were-Zoo, Arctic Shifters, Norlanian Brides, Saber Chronicles, and Ashland Pride are available now.

Loved this book. I didnt realize it was a continuation from Callie's story, but i was so hoping there would be. I love this author and her ability to make me lose myself in the story. I can't wait for number two. I just wish I could find me couple of cats of my own. Thanks for giving me awesome dreams.

The story starts out with Samantha, the new music teacher at the elementary school. Some of the children of the local mountain lion pack decide they want to keep her for their own and scheme to arrange for her to meet their dad. It all backfires when their uncle comes in their dad’s place.

The kids were so cute! I’m a complete sucker for little kids and teens. Babies are sweet and cute but let’s face it they don’t talk much. With the older kids you get the added personality and oh my some of the things they say!

While Seducing Samantha is a standalone book that begins R.E. Butlers’ new series I would recommend reading Book 3 of her were series Callie and the Cats first. This series is a spin off from that book, in which the mountain lions were first introduced. While she explains the basics of their life before this point I feel reading Callie and the Cats offers a better insight, plus you get the benefit of reading another hot and sexy book by R.E. Butler.

No they weren't your typical alpha were, but then they weren't meant to be. Their dream is to be loved and accepted for who they are and for their children to have a mother that they deserve instead of the cold life they had endured from their own mother. While there seems to be more hot sex than actual seducing going on I liked the story line. Imagine all the hotness and strength of a were alpha, with the sweet nurturing nature some women only dream about.

This story was good, but the flow was a little off. Whereas I enjoyed all of the story, I feel the attack by the female lion occurred too early in the book and experienced a bit of a let down since I expected another attack and it never came. The story was a good introduction to the other lions in the pride and I hope each of them finds their mate in future stories.
