Hello I am no more or less than 17 years of age. I began writing this book at the beginning of 2012 and have found a deep passion in this art. I know there may be some small errors that I have missed in my writing and I do apologize for that. However, once this book gains popularity I will be selling it at a fair price to gain profits. 'Got as far as Chapter 5. I was hopeful just before they left the palace on their flying boat but things began to get worse after that. The descriptions are a little too psychedelic (for want of a better word) and difficult to picture. The story itself seems interesting but the writing style defeated me. Sorry.

Way to complicated writing style. Confusing and barely readable sometimes. I could not finish the book. Characters and storyline seemed promising but the writing style finally stopped me. Really needs a serious editing to make more readable. All the 5 star ratings seem suspicious. Sorry, I really tried to like it.

It sounds like this may have been translated from another language. I mean, what person speaking English as their first language would say something like this: "The trees let their leaves to fall upon the ground and be crushed before darkness falls upon the land unknown by human eyes."

WOW when I saw this novel, there was only one five star review. There are so many reviews now and all five stars! I am not surprised however because this novel is a one of a kind. the details are amazing and my imagination just sizzles with all that is written. The only cons I could find is that perhaps the author used too much blood in the novel but I myself still like the descriptions and obviously everyone else does too.

I was asked to read this novel by a friend and am so glad that I was given the opportunity because my friend is totally right, this book is amazing! I liked the cover but sadly knew that the writing is most of the time not as good as the cover itself. However, you can truly judge the book by its cover because both are awesome. Keep it up author D.E.P. wherever you are.

Yea this book is pretty good. I like Sicarius's character even though at first I couldn't stand her. She is feisty and strong, yet understanding. Her life is mysterious and I hope the author writes something about her pre life someday. Overall I enjoyed this novel and am waiting for the next one.

Fantastic! That's one way to describe this book. I like the way that everything in the novel is not cliché, something I see too often in novels to this day. The author seems to explain everything the reader questions such as why portals do not work or if one works why the characters can't go through one. I am excited for the next novel!

It is truly difficult to find a good novel here on smash words. This novel is still not on iTunes. I really like this novel! I have not read a similar good book since my years in elementary and middle school when the Harry Potter series were popular. I wish this was on the bookshelves anymore because I am now a fan!

This novel has it all! I am slightly geared to romance and was slightly disappointed at first that there was no such thing in the first page in the novel despite the image of a rose on its amusing cover. But as I read, I found that there was a slight intention of romance by the author between the queen and the king as well as a vampire assassin and a warrior. Ha that sounds kind of weird but it totally is a good book, that is not a lie.
