I gave Road to Price 3.5 Stars.
*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*
The Road to Price was a quick read and it was almost Cinderellaesque- a rags to riches tale. Mia is a hard working girl holding down three jobs until she finally catches a break and gets offered a full time housekeeping position although it comes with some rather ‘interesting’ benefits in the form of her new boss, Sebastian Price.
Mia left her former job and former successful life after a heartbreaking event that tore her apart. So working for Sebastian is a welcomed relief although she doesn’t expect to fall for him and she never planned to let him into her heart.
I connected to Mia’s back-story and found it emotional at times when she would reminisce. I could understand her need for a fresh start and her reluctance to share her past with anyone as that was her business. There was instant attraction there with Sebastian and that led to some hot times.
Overall, this was a good story, I seen the potential in it and I feel if it was longer we could have got more character depth and really fell for Sebastian and Mia together. I could understand Mia’s hesitancy at the end. She was still so young and that was the only way she could process the upcoming changes, I just wish she didn’t run but then they always do.
I liked Sebastian’s POV at the end and thought it would be even better if it was throughout the story. He was hard to get a handle on and I didn’t initially like him as he was a young Hugh Hefner type character that slept with his staff. His change was a bit too sudden to be convincing but I did like Mia so it was easy to go along with it.
I only had one little factual niggle, however, it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story.
I liked the author’s writing; I started this story late at night and immediately wanted to read on. The pace felt a little uneven at times and I felt it was a bit rushed toward the end but it still made for a good read.
If you like the rich CEO storylines then this book is definitely for you. It’s quick, enjoyable and leaves you wanting more.

Mia and Sebastian aka Mr. Price are the main characters. He is looking for a house keeper, she is trying to work as much as she can so she can num herself and become too tired to remember what she’s running from.
She’s a 23 year old woman that moved to Miami where she worked her little fingers off, not for the money but to keep busy. Mia, is a broken woman that has suffered terrible things in her young life. She is lost, and afraid of relationships, so she does what any other person would do….work till you drop dead tired.
Mr. Price, is a rich, married male whore, a womanizer, and a control freak, among other things. I was sure this jerk was going to hurt her even more.
The story is short; I was emotionally and really enjoying the story and then the cliff hanger!!! The good thing is that the second book should be out.
The story is in Mia’s POV but switches between the present and her past. I love the last chapter it’s from Sebastian’s POV. Always nice to read what the male character has to say.
There came a time that I wanted to wring her neck, give her a good smack, for putting him through the pain he went through toward the end. Why the change of my view on Mr. Price you ask…well you will just have to read the story.
I can’t wait to start reading the next book.
I know eventually someone will mention the grammar error in the story; it was only one word a few times through the story not a big deal. The story is still great. I would recommend this to the New Adult age group and those adults that enjoy romance with a little action.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

I got this book to write an honest review so here it is. This review may have SPOILERS, so you've been warned!
Mia Dechino is running from her past and wants to start a fresh start in Miami. She keeps herself busy with several jobs to not think about her past. She needs to keep herself distracted and she finds that in Sebastian Price, her new boss at her new job. She immediately feels a strange, undeniable attraction to him. But is he enough to make her feel alive again?
OMG, I just cannot say eough how much I loved this book! It was so amazing that I could not put it down! I loved the charachters so much!
First of all Mia Dechino. She is desperatly trying to not think about her past and at teh beginning of the book you want to know what happened to her and who Miles is who she talks about. I loved how the author wrote the parts where we could sneek a peek at the past and what happened. Some parts were really dreadful and others were happy parts. It just made the whole picture of Mia's character complete as you begin to know why Mia became the way she is now.
Then there is Sebastian Price, who is a womanizer and a cocky assholw, who you begin to love when you get to know him. You see a different part of Sebastian. A part thats only reserved for Mia. One does not simply not fall in love with Sebastian Price!
The sexy scenes were serously hot and well sexy with a hint of romance, which was really amazing to read. And the writing style was really good and easy to read. I stumbled upon some errors though, which were a bit annoying, especially those where it said 'your' instead of 'you're', but nonetheless it was such an amazing book, that I would definately recommend!!!! :D
I felt so sad at the end. I did not know why Mia did what she did. I am hoping to know in the next part why she chose to do what she did. So I am really looking forward to the next part!
