About Patricia Day

I have always loved writing. A Stolen Childhood, Eleanor's Story, was my first full-length book. It takes the reader on a personal journey with Eleanor, as she travels from her painful childhood into her inspiring adult life.

Having been subjected to many traumas, such as abuse, rejection, divorce, and others that you will discover along her journey, she found the strength to persevere. Determined to never give up. I hope her strength and resourcefulness will inspire you, no matter your circumstances, to live your own life to the fullest. You never know where that journey might take you.

Over the years, I have had poetry and devotionals published. I write book reviews for major publishing companies, as well as for Readers' Favorites, where you can choose from a wide variety of genres.

Married, with four children and twelve grandchildren, I love family-time; reading, gardening, and photography.

I liked the format and length of this book, it was easy to read and I am sure will be a healing read for many. Even if this story does not touch a part of the reader, I am sure the reader will know of someone who would benefit from reading this. I am sure that many will find release, healing and comfort from this book. Awesome job of writing and sharing Pat.

I found this book to be an excellent read. I could relate to many sections in this book. For any who have lived thru any kind of verbal or physical abuse, you will be able to understand more that you are not alone in what you have gone through.
