About Victorine Lieske

I'm a mom of four, business owner, graphic designer, wife of an ambitious city council member and chamber of commerce director, seminary teacher, and feeder of our cats. I think there's more that I do around here, but I don't want to mention dish washer or laundry sorter. In my spare time, I write! :)

I really liked "Not what she seems" it was outstanding. Great twists and turns, and I definitely didn't figure it out ahead of time which is VERY UNUSUAL. :-)

very well written suspense story with a romantic subplot. plenty of good twists and turns and nicely developed characters. sometimes i did roll my eyes at the density of the hero/heroine but if everything came together smoothly, there would be no story!

the suspense/mystery aspect of the story is the main plot, the romance is a nice G-rated subplot throughout the entire story.

Just read Victorine Lieske's "Not What She Seems": The thriller is well carrried out leading to a rather surprising ending. But, what kept me reading the book was the undergoing love story. It was almost has having two parallel themes developing in front of my eyes. Is there a genre of "thriller/love story?"
