About H. Lee Morgan, Jr

I'm Lee,
As a child I've always had a vivid imagination, but it wasn't until I was in a swimming accident and becoming paralyzed due to having my neck broken at the age of 14 that I could bring my imagination to life, through writing. My life has undoubtedly been harsher than others, being forced to live in a wheelchair and all, but my imagination, personality and drive to continue has helped me to write. It's impossible to know if I'd still write if not for being a quadriplegic, but I've come to enjoy writing and sharing my passion and stories with others.

Other than grammar errors this series is the authors best work in my opinion. I have read through them all multiple times and up to this point (9/22/2015) I have read all of the authors work. The characters are drastically improved from his previous series. This main character is very distrustful and quite dark as well. As the series progresses you see his growth and it is very enjoyable to read. All of the authors character seem to be quite overpowered (often ridiculously so) but I enjoy that.

The author would benefit greatly from running his work through a proofreader or even a spellchecker as the incorrect words sometimes break immersion into his world.

Though it could use some polish in several places, the story itself is quite good, with a main character who is powerful, yet still faces limitations to keep him in check, and interesting world and magic system, and a nice cliffhanger at the end to make you want to pick up the rest of the series.

I'm about a quarter through this book and the story is engaging.

The author SERIOUSLY needs the assistance of an editor/proofreader/grammarian. There are so many grammatical errors, proofreading goofs, and tense changes (often in the same sentence) that it is difficult to become involved in the story.

Maybe I'll write another review when (or if) I finish it.

Great story.
The cover needs a bit more Photoshop work but is an interesting concept.
Let me know should you; or anyone you know; need any images – free to low cost.
Suggestion – also offer the entire series as one book - after reading the first free I would have preferred reading it and the 4 others I just bought as one book.
