About Ben Crofton

Ben has had an interest in writing for many years, though it was not until high school that he ever wrote anything he intended for others to read (at the urging of several of his teachers, he decided to submit a few stories to the school's literary magazine.) Surprisingly, one of them actually got published.

Since then he's continued writing, trying his best to hone his skills as he experiments with different literary genres - though initially he pretty much wrote only horror, Ben has found great satisfaction in combining elements of science fiction and fantasy with his work.

Ben is attracted to writing primarily because he enjoys telling stories and entertaining others (and also because of fact that if he didn't write, he'd probably lose his mind).

He lives in Madison, WI with his wife, daughter, dog and several cats.

Was skimming Barnes and Noble's Nook Color books and came across this book.

Had a very high star rating there, so decided to download it and give it a try.

Well worth my time. Very engaging stories; reminiscent of Stephen King (when King was on top of his game).

Would like to see more from this author.
