Brian was born and raised in Seattle in 1959. He grew up in the town of Mount Lake Terrace, a small suburb north of the city. Brian, being the youngest, had two siblings, his eldest brother, Mike and sister, Pam. School was challenging, as Brian suffers with Dyslexia, a learning disability that affects 1 in 15 Americans. But that didn't stop Brian, as he was nicknamed "bookworm" in school because he always had his nose in a book.
Brian received his MBA in 2010 in Business, and is now a full time author, living his lifelong dream of writing science fiction books. He enjoys his off time, being married to his seventh grade sweetheart, Diana Rose now for fourteen years. She has been by his side, and continues to supports his writing. Brian says that without her encouragement, his dream would never have become a reality. They now live in Marysville, Washington, and enjoy three wonderful kids and six grandchildren. They range from ages three years all the way up to nearly thirteen. Jacob who is the eldest, Amanda, Donita, Carmela, Adam, and Ariyah, and he says they are so special and great to have around.
It's Brian’s hope that through his writing he will fill hearts with joy to readers all over the world, and spark their imaginations.

Secret of the Crystal by Brian K. Larson is an action packed, fast paced adventure combining time travel, space opera and fantasy. Once I started reading the book, it was hard to put it down.
The author did a great job of weaving a tale of adventure across time and space. The story was full of twist and turns which kept me glue to it but it was easy to read and follow. I found myself getting absorbed into the adventure and this makes a book all the more enjoyable.
Brian K. Larson did an excellent job of developing characters that were both real and easy to identify with. His storytelling style gave plenty of information on the backgrounds and storylines of each character. This helped bring them and the story to life.
I really like Secret of the Crystal by Brian K. Larson and highly recommend this book to all readers.
[Please note: I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.]

This book is going to be bigger that Star Trek and Star Wars. And it's audience is WAY bigger. It has a bumpy start, but once you get into it..it is SO good. It is a total Science Fiction book; Amazon has it soaring up the time travel list.
First Chapter: Remember it's free, and there are more books available!! Just to get you off to the right start:
The leader of the High Council, had two sons; one to take leadership upon death, and the other, well, the other had WAY more fun than his elder brother.
Both are captains of their respective fleets. The elder is more of an over-seer, and doesn't battle much (not so far anyway). The younger captain is a thrill seeker, and he is passionate about his home. Within the first chapter he had the force field tested....while he and his crew were sitting in the aircraft (Would a car designer test his car, by putting himself into the drivers seat during a crash test?? This one did!).
I've seen probably every #STNG as a kid.. multiple times. I've only seen Star Wars once through.
This younger brother. I call him John, but I think in the book it's Jhanakhan.
Jahn (I guess), goes out to fight enemy aircraft that had come into his planet's safe zone. He does something I don't ever remember seeing in Star Trek or Star Wars. He took his 'plane', cranked up the force field and slammed into the enemy 'ship', splitting it into two, and blasted the other enemy ship simultaneously. I could imagine it all in my head.. AND THAT'S ONLY THE FIRST CHAPTER!!!! Read it, and give this guy some review's!!
I know they have a sister, born from their father's mistress. I don't know much else about her yet. I know the mistress is also part of the High Council.
I know the planet they live on has a secret that very few have access too. It has a mountain. The mountain is basically hiding a mass diamond deposit, referred to as Crystal. Of course crystal takes a REALLY long time to form, so this is obviously an old planet. I don't know yet if their secret got out or what, but they are protecting this planet with everything they've got.
Make sure you highlight how many stars you give it, they are hard to see!!! It took me a few times.
