About Linzé Brandon

Linzé Brandon is the pen name of a South African project manager who taught herself to read before she went to school. This started a lifelong love affair with books.
She still loves to read - anything considered romance - but also enjoys amateur sleuth and extreme science fiction books. When she is not working or writing, she likes to do cross stitch embroidery, fly fishing, painting abstracts in mixed media, archery and watching Manchester United play. She is captain of a team of soccer enthusiasts on Superbru, and love the interplay with the guys during the season.
Her favourite time of year is NaNoWriMo, simply because she loves the challenge and the camaraderie of her fellow local and online Wrimos.

Vanessa, had I read the description and its ‘spoon fed information’ I too would have known it was her boyfriend she was missing and not (pick one) dead/alive, husband/boyfriend/dom, imaginative non-existent lover, ghost, etc.)
The sound of the helicopter could have brought tears to her eyes because he was killed in one.
A story should be replete within itself and not need external description.
And come on, a few showers? You sure it’s not the South African heat? LOL

Review by: Vanessa Wright on Oct. 06, 2013 :
A clever erotic fantasy, with a superb ending where the main character realises that she misses her sexual partner. The helicopter blades remind her of how he left which makes the anticipation at his return more poignant. I disagree strongly with the previous review- there is no disjointed ending. A clever author realises that her readers are intelligent and do not have to be spoon fed. Had to take a few cold showers after this one-brilliantly done Linze Brandon!

Disjointed ending. Really no ending at all.
