About Lawrence A. Votee

Lawrence A. Votee is a veteran, freelance writer, and self-published author who resides in Niagara Falls, NY. Since he was a young boy, Lawrence was fascinated by the stories he read, in particular the worlds they took him to, and wanted one day to be able to fascinate others with his writing. He began writing poetry in his teens and dabbled in short stories for his own enjoyment. As the years passed and the responsibilities that often follow a misspent youth began to demand his attention, his writing fell to the wayside. It wasn't until after his time in the military that he began to write again and his drive to entertain readers, evolve as a writer, and stand head and shoulders above others in his chosen genre, is second to none.

I know people say to never judge a book by its cover, but this one really pulled me in and to be honest, that's usually the first thing I notice when I pick up a book. Lucian, at first, seems like such a normal person, but quickly realizes something just doesn't seem right. He never knew what that something was until he learns that he's from another planet. His grandfather has been protecting his identity this whole time after escaping from his father and brothers. He must quickly gather the courage to save his planet, even if it means returning to a home he doesn't remember and it helps that he's not alone on this journey. This is such an amazing book with a mixture of supernatural, action and love. Couldn't recommend this enough--I only wish it were longer!
