Review by: dpietran68 on Feb. 20, 2016 :
Jane Porter has such a lyrical way of writing. Take Me, Cowboy is a contemporary novel with a hero and heroine who are destine to be together but fight it all of the way. I truly love Porter's writing. She is able to add such detail that the reader is emotionally pulled into the story. The setting of Marietta is also charming and the secondary characters add an element akin to all small towns.
