About Alaina:
Alaina lives a stone's throw from the Mississippi River in Missouri. Her first story was published in the local newspaper at age 6. She hasn't stopped writing since.

As the mother of seven children she loved to play video games with her kids. One day it occurred to her to write an adventure that flowed like a video game. She added a touch of romance and Hypnotic Journey was born.

The Fantasy Romance- HJ characters are like a family to Alaina. They are foolish, daring, resourceful and full of passion not only for life but for the friendships they have created in this world and the next.

Alaina's been a Trekkie all her life, so her next series was Science Fiction. The Treborel Series is a paranormal adventure featuring a two best friend's as the hero's fighting to find the women they love and survive the chaos of a continental conflict while being stalked by a psychotic villain determined to destroy them.

Archangel is a pre-apocalyptic series about angels fighting against the rising evil in a desperate attempt to keep humanity alive long enough to reach the end of days.

Royal Duty is a new type of series. Each book is a different genre- Science Fiction, Historical Romance, Fantasy, etc. They all share a central theme of a royal heir struggling against their obligations to the throne.

In the end, Alaina writes about how friendship and love can be the only thing keeping you alive long enough to defeat your demons. You will find Alaina's stories exciting and steamy, but she's not an erotic author. Her characters still fall in love and have sex, its just not that obvious.

You can email Alaina at anytime. She loves to hear from her readers.

Fantastic romantic adventure. The idea that angels roam the earth trying to kill demons and keep mankind alive long enough to reach the end of days is thrilling. The angels have free will which can get them into trouble at times when they are stressed and worn from their duties. Love, sex and other temptations wear away at them.

I have to admit I purchased Alaina's books because they were free but her imagination has me captured. This book is about a young mom and her child running away from a horde of demons determined to bring her back to a reclusive compound where children are in grave danger.

This is my third book of hers and now I am going to purchase the rest of the series with a smile. Worth the read!

There was more fighting and evil in this story than any of Stanford's other stories, which I enjoyed. The main theme in this novel is the battle between heaven and hell and what it takes to face such horrors. This was a great story that makes for a good foundation for an ongoing series.

The archangel vs demon aspect attracted me to this book. I was concerned it would have a ton of romance which is not what I was looking for but it did not. It has a great blend of action, suspense with just enough romance to attract the female reader yet not distract they guys from a great adventure.

The main characters are a mom and her daughter escaping from a cult that worships demons. The cult leader is the childs daughter and he sends hordes of demons after them when he realizes they have found a hero to protect them who turns out to be an archangel.

A prophesy is involved and the end of days is approaching. This is a great start to an exciting series about how Archangels protect the innocent in preparation for the apocolypse.

This book was exciting and inventive. I felt like I was right there with Alyssa running for my life from a demon worshiping cult. The Archangel aspect is original and the demon background very interesting. Well written, well defined characters. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not put it down. This is book one of the series, I'm heading to look for book 2.
