Review by: MaximillianVIII on Oct. 23, 2017 :
I downloaded this book due to a friend knowing the author. The story moves along at a fair pace. I found one or two places slow, but overall the author did a great job of keeping me engaged. Both the male and female protagonist are strong characters and well rounded, and each had their own weaknesses. While this science fiction, the plot is character driven, the vehicles and devices are familiar as we would see in Star Wars, or Star Trek, but the author relegates them to the background. The world he’s build is believable, and yet alien enough to transport you there through his detailed descriptions. Included in the back is an appendix. This helped me to get a complete feeling for the world and characters. Looking forward Plots and Prophecies, the next book in the series.

I read the book in one sitting. The characters are engaging and the plot thought provoking, especially in light of today political climate. The action scenes well written. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.
