About Louis Piechota

Louis Piechota grew up in Colorado but now lives in upstate New York. Currently he pays the bills as a mechanical engineer, but his dream has always been to become a full-time author and storyteller. His main passion in writing is fantasy, but he’s also got a few ideas for science fiction stories that haven't made it onto the page yet. Basically anything that can't be found in the real world is what most interests him in both writing and reading. J.R.R Tolkien, Lloyd Alexander, Isaac Azimov, and Ursula K. Le Guin are some of his own favorite authors. He published his first novel, “A Rose in the Desert,” in 2014. In the fall of 2018 he followed it up with a sequel entitled “A Daughter of Kings,” and he is currently at work on his next project.

I love your book; thank you for taking the time to write it. I am not that much of a reader, but I was pulled in to the world you created. Every chapter left me satisfied and hungry for more. I love the book's setting, style, and balance of magic and 'real life'.
