About L.V. Lloyd

After thirty years of working with the unemployed, coping with threats, tears and broken lives (and these were only from fellow staff), LV Lloyd decided it was time to make her escape. And what better place to go than the world of m/m romance? She started writing Dangerous Tension, her first ebook, years ago, but put it aside due to work and family commitments.
In 2012, she dusted off the foolscap pages stored under her bed, finished the story and turned it into a book. Since then, she has written five more ebooks in the Aurigan Space Saga series, and numerous short stories. Pirate is the sixth book in the series.
LV Lloyd lives in Adelaide, Australia, with her family and two cats. In her spare time she enjoys fishing and visiting the many local wineries.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters have morals which makes them very appealing to me :) The fact that it is in the future is also a plus for me. You don't see many mxm stories of science fiction.

I always want to read more of this author's books!

L.V. Lloyd has a talent for the writing drama filled plots. I enjoyed this story, a prequel to his Guilty Secret as it shared a new world of exploration and possibilities among gay men in space. The book exhibits sexual tendencies at play that are realistic and unavoidable in any time line, whether it be past, present or future. Lt. Ferris is a strong, well written character with all the right moves. The man has heart and passion. Something that would be unexpected under militant circumstances, yet the author brings this unsung hero to light in a way that left me cheering him on until the very end.

Great story.
