Reviews of The Eternity Conundrum: A Brief Prequel to "The Villain's Sidekick" by Stephen T. Brophy

First, it's not a spoof -- the narrator makes a lot of jokes as he tells the story, and there are some spoofy character names -- but it's a genuine adventure story -- as well as a genuine short story, the kind rooted in a surprising moment of irony -- and it all works (I'm not really capturing it).
