Be With Me

Rated 4.17/5 based on 6 reviews
Barely a wife before she became a widow, Briallen feels like she’s lost everything – and now she has to watch a group of strangers move into the house she once called home. As hard as that it is to face, it’s made even more difficult by a man she feels drawn to, and two children she can’t help but love.

Everyone deserves a second chance at love, even in the Iron Age. More

About Becca Lusher

Having an overactive imagination hasn’t always been a good thing: I spent much of my childhood scared of the dark and terrified by the stories my older sister told me (mostly to stop her being the only one afraid of the dark). These days I find it useful. I love stories, I love fantasy, I love things with wings, stars and the world around me, and I have great fun combining them all into my stories.

Born in the UK, I live in the wild south-west where I run around with my dogs and get bossed about by cats, while taking photos of gorgeous landscapes, reading lots of books and climbing rocks.

I’ve also been known to write stories.

I've just started this book but am a bit confused about when it is meant to be set. The blurb states Iron Age and yet the year give is something like 245 AD, which is during the Roman occupation of Britain. Should it be BC?

This story swept me away to a different time. I can see how this story might be too slow for some readers, but if you like books about family and the healing power of love, then you'll love it!

I had a little problem with pronouncing the names of the characters in my head, but that is my own personal problem. I don't think I have had any instruction on this period in history, it all sounds good. I did enjoy the whole thing and can recommend it highly. This one will stay with me for a while. Thank you!
