Neither apologetic for his past behavior nor proud, Wayne Dowdy writes his life as vividly as Rembrandt painted oil on canvas, or Michelangelo took chisel to marble. The US Prison system is a wretched place to call home but the author has managed under the most stressful and hostile situation, to make lemonade from lemons. This book is reflective, energetic, and easy to read. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys simply well written non-fiction.
