I found the story to be very, very engaging; I consider it a fresh take on the the entire time-traveling concept, one without the typical rehashes. The plot is also very well-thought out.

One thing though(admittedly a thing which I can attribute to personal preference) I would have enjoyed having a more detailed and engaging experience with the characters and the universe that the writer created. The story is a single thread in the world he has created, it would be quite nice to see or have little teasers of other adventures within that world considering how colorful it is. It would also help establish a bit of emotional connection with the characters, maybe give the reader something more personal to connect with regarding the character's development. Perhaps in the sequels, which I await with great anticipation :)

I am an instant fan. More power and we look forward to more of your work!

This adventure starts very calmly and before long one is enraptured by it. The story is fast paced with high energy and it takes the reader to many places in the world but also in time. Just when you think there is a break in the excitement the reader is taken again to the next level. Those readers who enjoyed Percy Jackson will love the twist this novel has with an hourglass!

This is a fun adventure book for young adults. After the first few chapters things really get going at a fast pace and I found I couldn’t put the book down. Lots of action, twists and turns with each discovery and new adventure that Billy uncovers with this special Hourglass. I especially liked the ending., I won’t spoil it, you will have to find out for yourself!

This novel has the same start as most other books out there, however after the first few chapters it takes a huge unexpected turn and takes you on an intense adventure, with captivating cliffhangers and a flawless ending, while teaching life lessons. I strongly recommend this book to adventure loving individuals, and to everyone else who seeks to have a good time.

I must admit this book takes time to ramp up, for the first chapter and a half or so I was questioning all the backstory but as soon as it takes off it is captivating. Now I personally don't usually read in one or two huge sessions but this book in particular captured my interest soon as it enraptured the rouge character Rohan, it entwined a lot of rarely known facts, ancient languages and virtually no plot holes. And despite it's almost grave 'end of the earth theme' it somehow brings about humor and wit while making room for knowledge and action. My personal opinion if you have a few spare minutes a day and an extra 3$ or so I suggest buying this book.
