About Henry Brown

"Fresh and different is the best way to describe Henry Brown’s writing. From the tough-guy military fiction of Hell & Gone to the delightfully satirical superheroes of The Greater Good, you’ll find something completely different in Mr. Brown’s work." - conservativefiction.com

I'm not really a "conservative" (whatever that actually means). And I'm a lot more LIBERAL than the left-wing lunatics who are called "liberal" in the modern Newspeak most people prefer to use in this society that calls good evil and evil good. What I am is a patriot--sometimes that shows up in my fiction; sometimes it doesn't. What doesn't ever show up in my work is the typical leftist messages, feminist tropes, and obligatory LGBT-pandering you will find pretty much everywhere else (including in books by "conservative" authors). But enough about politics.

I'm an old paratrooper who likes to tell stories. As a kid I liked to read mysteries, westerns, science fiction, and fantasy--written anytime from the 1930s up to the late 1980s. I don't have any single favorite author--there might be hundreds who influenced me. In any case, I like to spin adventure tales with strong characters. I strive for realism, but at the same time, the adventures my characters experience are a lot more exciting than what we typically see in real life.

If you enjoy exposure to adventure, wonder, and excitement, consider giving my books a try.

The satire is to blatant to be enjoyable. Read the first 2 chapters and put it away.
