Review by: Anna Lyall on May 24, 2017 :
Extremely short story, very quick read. I had not read "Master of Crows" yet, so I feel like this was very much a bit of a spoiler (for me) and it expects you to be completely familiar with the world already. While lost on the one hand, I was able to follow the story and enjoy it for itself, but I believe I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the novel first. I'm going with 5 stars because I just ignored how lost I was and enjoyed the story enough to finish it without taking the time to read the novel first, but recommend the ordering as I have done it.

If you've read "Master of Crows" you'll be as happy as me to meet Silhara and Martise again in this admittedly far too short story. I'm just happy there'll be a sequel to "Master" as this story whetted my appetite for MOOOORE.
