Rated 5.00/5 based on 5 reviews
In this world of confusion and lies, it's hard to find clear answers to our questions about sexual orientation and attractions. Many people are afraid to ask and search for them. But God wants us to come into the light, to find the Truth, and be set free. This book is a story of one man's journey out of darkness and into that light and the lessons he learned along the way. Occasionally... no, Rarely in today's world will you find such honest and vulnerable truths expressed in such a concise and powerful manner, unless you turn to the Scriptures of the Holy Bible itself! Kevin Frye shares his journey out of fear, and into the arms of our loving God and Father, as he directly confronts his own same-sex attractions and homosexual lusts, and begins to see himself through God's eyes.

Some may judge his journey to be as unorthodox as Hosea's also was, when God directed the propbet to marry the villiage prostitute! But no one full of the Holy Spirit will be able to deny the good work that God is indeed carrying on to completion within Kevin's own life, and through the gift of this particular writing to all who are blessed to have read him.

Thank you, Kevin, for a marvelous work unto God! Much love in Christ, and may He richly bless the godly message of this tremendous book, that He chose to write to all of us, through you!

My best friend got this book and was telling me that I needed to read it. Though I was a bit familiar with the author from reading his articles on the website he writes for, I don't like e-books.... and it is only available in e-book. However, it sounded so good, I decided to buy it.

Over the years, I have read many books on the issue of same-sex attraction/homosexuality. This has to be the best one I have read on that subject. The author is very honest and open about his own struggles, and what it took to get past them.

More so than most books on this subject, Kevin gets down at the root of the problem and gives some great insight into what might be holding those back who are struggling with same-sex attractions. He brought up things I had never considered or looked at, and I found his story and thoughts encouraging and helpful.

I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with same-sex attraction, family and friends of those who struggle, or to anyone wanting to understand this struggle a little more.

This is a powerful book. Kevin is clearly inspired and led by the Holy Spirit and this is found not only in the message but in his honesty and boldness. You might not be able to follow, or otherwise agree with everything he writes, but the message of Christ is unmissable here and it's a message that needs to be spoken and heard louder in today's social climate. A must-read for all Christians and non-Christians alike in search of truth regarding sexuality issues.

Very well written and extremely encouraging book. I wish it was more out in the open for other people to read! Definitely worth reading no matter what side you are on regarding sexual orientation.

A really good book! My heart resonates with this book so much! Kevin starts with addressing some root problems, and biblical solutions, then shares his own life experience with his struggle. I managed a few tears, but in the end felt really encouraged, and challenged to face my fears!
