About Raf Nadroy

Born and raised in New York City in a very low income area of the city called old Spanish Harlem from wonderful, decent, hard working and respectful grandparents. After living my first seventeen years of life in the city and upon graduation from High School my way out of the city was the US Navy which I was so anxious to join as a young person. So after it was all said and done I was off to boot camp thinking of all the places I would be visiting during my four year tour of active duty which are all written down on the bottom cover of my first book (Raf I'm No Angel). After traveling half way around the world twice out of CA known as a West Pack Cruise I was separated from active duty and after just a short two week stay back in the city I realized that was the kind of life I did not want to live and raise a family in that dirty city. I have always love aircraft and having enlisted while still in High School I was given the opportunity to get into aviation and I did becoming an aircraft engine mechanic on engines that were
manufactured from a company located in East Hartford CT call Pratt & Whitney Aircraft which gave me the opportunity to get the hell out of that city again never to return. And once my grandparents passed away I washed my hands from the city totally.

Good book by a new author. Wonderful descriptions of life events encountered by individuals as they try to make sense of a crazy world. Story flows nicely and has a message to deliver. Worth the time to read this book.
