A BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED STORY THAT WILL HOLD YOU ENCHANTED...
Soul deep: A story of second chances, new beginnings and deep family ties. I could not put it down. If you have not yet been introduced to Pamela Clare’s incredible stories, this would be a great place to start. This novella is part of Pamela’s outstanding I Team series, however the author provides just the right amount of background information to bring first time readers up to date with the characters and places.
I am not normally a novella fan, but Pamela turns this novella into a complete story, with an interesting suspense thread and a truly beautiful love story. With a hero in his sixties, Jack, a heroine in her forties, Janet, and a fascinating look into the daily life on a large Colorado ranch, this book will surely hold the interest of any and all romance readers. As with all of Pamela’s work, it will have you glued to the pages. Try it, you will not be sorry.

I would read the back of a cereal box if it were written by Pamela Clare. However, this story has a lot more plot, and sex, than is usually found on your average box of breakfast food.
Pamela’s I-Team books are enhanced by the ‘after hours’ books – those wonderful novellas that fill in the extra details that all I-Team fans want to know. However, Soul Deep, Jack and Janet’s story, can be read as a standalone. Ms. Clare manages to explain other story lines and back stories for new readers without boring I-Team die-hard fans.
Soul Deep is a love story with a bit of a mystery. A love story between two mature people. Jack is sixty-three and Janet is forty-five. Just because they’re not twenty- or thirty-something doesn’t mean they’re ‘past it’. No. This is a passionate, beautiful romance and definitely meant for adults. Pamela’s writing shows her attention to detail without getting bogged down in it. Her style is easy to read and totally grabs your attention. Her characters are always fully-fleshed and real.
Well worth the price and the time spent reading. And it’s definitely a keeper and I’ve put it on my re-read list.

While there's not as many cameos of I-team members as I could have hoped for ( I'm a hopeless I-team fan girl)
I fell in love with Jack and Janet story from chapter 1
As always Pamela does a great job weaving stories with people who have their share of scars but feel more real because of what they have gone through.
A must have for all I-team fans & readers looking for a romance between older people finding another chance at love!
